The event was opened by the acting vice president of ANAS, the director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva. The academician spoke about the prospective areas of cooperation between the Institute of Oriental Studies and Belgorod State National Research University.

The head of the Russian House in Baku, Irek Zinnurov, expressed his gratitude for organizing the event and emphasized the importance of developing scientific relations, wishing success to the participants. 

Yevgeniya Karlovskaya, the rector of Belgorod State National Research University, expressed her confidence that mutual relations in both education and research areas would yield fruitful results.

Following this, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS and Belgorod State National Research University.

Subsequently, the employees of Belgorod State National Research University presented the scientific directions of the university's leading research schools and laboratories in the fields of humanities and social sciences.

This was followed by several presentations on various topics, after which discussions took place, and questions were answered.
