On October 10, the staff of the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS named after Academician Ziya Bunyadov visited the grave of distinguished scholar and orientalist, doctor of philological sciences, Professor Aida Imanguliyeva on the occasion of her 85th birthday, paying deep respect to her memory and placing a wreath on her grave.

A presentation of the scientific directions of Belgorod State National Research University of Russia was held at the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS named after academician Ziya Bunyadov.

The Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS, the Russian House in Baku, and Belgorod State National Research University are the organizers of the event. 

Before the event, Belgorod State National Research University presented valuable scientific books to the Institute of Oriental Studies.

On September 19, the president of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Isa Habibbeyli, acting vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Ziya Bunyadov, academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, and the staff of the Institute of Oriental Studies visited the grave of distinguished scholar and orientalist, one of the prominent figures of Azerbaijan science, doctor of philological sciences, teacher, Professor Aida Imanguliyeva. They paid their deep respects, honoring her memory, and placed wreaths and flowers at her grave.

The Institute of Oriental Studies named after Academician Ziya Bunyadov of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and Russia’s Moscow Islamic Institute have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation.

The document was signed by academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, acting vice-president of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, and Rector of the Moscow Islamic Institute, professor Damir Mukhetdinov.
